History

Over eight years ago I started customising my first motorcycle, a ’98 Ducati Monster 600. I started small doing my own maintenance, but when I realised I was taking apart the entire bike to improve it mechanically, but especially aesthetically. I’m still convinced that Ducati’s are technical pieces of art and any improvements on that part are often best left to the engineers in Bologna. Nonetheless I had the bug…

After getting the bike as far as I thought I could with my shoestring budget and limited skills, I finally sold the bike and started on my next project. Again a Ducati, this time the dreaded Multistrada 1000. A brilliant motorcycle with a horrific front-end. Fast forward almost a decade and I find myself building and restoring motorcycles from different era’s and upgrading them to meet some of today’s handling and looks. This while keeping the charm of the older bike. On the way I have thought myself a great deal of skills and acquired quite a bit of experience when it comes to converting older motorcycles. I’ve learned from experienced professionals and gotten quite some crucial tips on the way. This was incidentally the case when I’d made some stupid modification and the mechanic(s) didn’t dare to do a testride….
